Love the frame padding

Padding for shoulder carry. This is pre triangle bag technology. It was this or a rolled up jacket.
About ‘89 triangle bags with a shoulder pad became a thing. Spesh sold a bunch of them. I still have one somewhere and some makers are selling them now.
This somewhat lost form of biking feels ironically inaccessible to me. Makes modern biking sub-classes into all type of competitive sport feel very corporate.
