I had to intervene in a shakedown of vulnerable people on the high street and shouldn't have had to think twice about it. Fortunately the second I stepped in a dozen or so other people joined in and the perpetrator knew it was time to depart. Those people had been hesitating just like me.

It's nothing to do with a well prepared thief more to do with a cheapskate owner spending £20 on a lock that looks impressive! How about spending £200 on a proper lock
