I did an unholy N-1 and combined two of my overlapping builds over the last couple weekends. My Marin developed an ovalized head tube, so it was time to retire the old boy.
I moved the gearing (Ross was previously SS), saddle, and luggage over to this one. Took it on an 18 mile trip on gravel, single- and double-track today and had a fun, slow, naturey ramble. Goal is to make it an overnighter rig, so I’ll probably need to add a rear rack so I can fit my tent and bedding.
I still haven’t gotten the Spice Girls’ *2 Become 1* out of my head.
