  1. I’ve never gotten a flat with these tires (well never a puncture that sealant didn’t seal). No significant nicks. I cannot really tell if the grip has lessened. If it has, it has been gradual and I haven’t noticed the change.

    I mean they are a bit dry, but after 9K miles, I’d expect that.

    You are an absolute legend. Keep those out of the landfill as long as you can. Run them until they ACTUALLY become a threat to your teeth/life.

  3. Depends on how hard you corner! Personally I’d probably run that as a rear, but not a front. I can save a slightly squirrely rear tire but if the front lets go it’s usually lights out.

    Replace the whole bike, it appears to be a road bike, plenty of good mtb deals to be had right now
