Hi everyone! Have been enjoying the first rides on the Canyon Aeroad I purchased earlier this year.
I have a question regarding a little hole that’s in the frame of the bike. Its not the hole that keeps the internal cable routing in place, covered by the plastic top – as that’s under the bottle cage.
The hole I am referring to is between the 2 bottle cages, see pic attached!
Hope someone can help me understand what this is/does. Thank you!

That definitely doesn’t look intentional. You should reach out to Canyon.
That looks like something has been rubbing and worn through the damm frame!
The bottle cage on the seat tube is mounted too low, so the bottle rubbed on the down tube and caused this hole.
