  1. that’s an issue. the dustcover should rotate with the rest of the spacers

    the dustcover sits too low or the paint is too thick or there is debris between the dustcover and the frame. to move the dustcover upwards you need to add headset shims/spacers (like FSA 160-3021). to remove debris you need to remove the stem and clean.

    if the bike is new then that is an issue that is worth contacting canyon for. if that is something that developed it could just be debris but it could also be that something is wrong with the compression ring or seat of the bearing.
