Could be a lot of things. Most common is improper bb spacer install. I’d take the crank out and then spin the bearings, check alignment, check the manual on how to install the spacers correctly.

Check your preload ring on the NDS. If you loosen it that should fix it. If not you could have over torqued the drive side. If it’s none of that it’s probably the BB.

something similar happened to me 2 days ago.
mud sneaked between BB and cranks spindle due to badly set toric joint.

I’ve had this happen twice, once on my Rocky Mountain and once on my son’s Vitus. On both occasions after a small ride out they’ve freed themselves up. The Rocky Mountain did in the end need a new BB but the Vitus is brand new and it’s running fine now.
