From what I can tell the derailleur hanger looks straight enough, and I rode it every day for 5 months last year, smooth shifting. The derailleur is *very* close to the cassette, and it collides with the derailleur shifting into 6th gear. Shifting into the first 5 gears is nice and smooth. I’ve adjusted the b screw several times
Cassette: Shimano 42T
Chain: Shimano HG95
Derailleur: Shimano Deore M5120-SGS

Tighten the b-tension screw. It looks like it backed out a lot. The inside of the pulley cage may even have a line for you to align it to the largest cog when you’re in your second largest cog.
How’s your chain length? Does it clear if you move the cage forward?
Some derailleurs these days have a switch that needs to be flipped that moves it back away from the cassette.
Which gear are you calling the 6th?
The biggest cog is the lowest gear and we call it the first. In your pics the chain is on the 5th cog.
As others have said, screw the B-screw in.
