I have always been someone who thinks there is something better just around the corner. So I decided to go off-piste and create the following monster. Calfee Cephal frame running Rene Herse 48mm tires with a Redshift Kitchen Sink set of handlebars and using a Gates Carbon Belt Drive an Rohloff Hub.

How does it handle? Looks very slack for drop bars

I’m on a similar path with my checkpoint sl5. Brought stem back to a 50mm nice set of funn bars (pretty wide), shimano dropper. I came very close to picking up a set of fox taper forks last week. Nice work looks unique, and if you can achieve a good fit and handling theres nothing to worry about except time to ride.
That’s a kitchen sink full of parts lol.
Are you using the twist shifter for the Rohloff somehow or something else?
That Pike is an interesting choice. Did you consider the SID?
