The plastic straps may pop-out at the front/bottom. If not, just make a small cut into the padding.

Why do you want to remove the padding in your helmet?
If it doesn’t fit, you need a new helmet.
If it’s dirty… Put your helmet in the dishwasher top rack water only and no heat dry.
If you don’t like it, you are ruining your helmet.
Foam and straps are intended to keep your helmet on your heat in the correct position in a crash, if your helmet moves on impact, it’s not going to do it’s job.

I have a completely different design in my UVEX, but I suppose they meant to turn the wheel that tightens your helmet till those straps fall out, and then wash.
But I’d do what others suggested, cut a tiny slit in that foam padding and be done with it.

If you are looking to clean it, just wear the helmet in a post-ride shower and rinse it out with warm water. Shampoo/soap optional if you’re worried about degrading some part of it.

I’d just dunk the whole thing in a bucket of warm water and a little laundry detergent. Hang dry after. No need to remove. No big deal.

Don’t the straps unclip at the front?
I just rinse the whole helmet under the tap every now and then when it starts to smell a bit funky.
Riding in the rain usually helps keep it clean too

As a rental shop all of our helmets are simply tensed and then dunked in a bleach solution and rinsed again then hung up to dry
