  1. The A55 from Llandudno to Holyhead is also one of my favourite roads, along with the A5 all the way from Chirk. Your Welsh pronunciation is good in places, but maybe you should try learning a bit of the wonderful language of this wonderful country! Each letter always has the same sound, so it's a lot easier than English!

  2. A lot of older rail enthusiasts that I know reckon that the North Wales Coast Line was ruined by the upgrading of the A55. But as you say, the original route must have been a nightmare before it was built. Of course, if only we could get them out of their cars and onto trains!

  3. The start of the video: “the A55 is my favourite road”; the end of the video: “I hate the A55” 😜

I really need to visit this part of the world – I should do it by train!

  4. This inspired me to do the opposite of what you did and walk from Bangor to Llanfairfechan and then get on the train! Very nice walk down the coastal path and a lot more distant from the noisy A55! Definitely recommend the walk to anyone in the area looking for a challenge 🙂

  5. I think it's fair to say that you're better off wearing ear muffs when doing that walk. Nice views of the coast, but ruined by traffic noise from the A55
