Nice bag and bike (have the same 88 RH Comp too).
I would be careful about the cord wrapped around the frame. At least inspect it from time to time. I have the same setup on my brushed finish titanium gravel bike and the cord has rubbed some of the brushed finish smoother. It’s evident where the cord was on the frame. And I haven’t had the bag on that long. I imagine it would start to wear the nice paint on your bike in little time as well.
