Hey,
My new bike day is approaching fast since I’m almost ready to order. Now I’m just trying to figure out is the Roadlite7 so much better than Roadlite6 that it’s 20% something more expensive. I’m not too familiar with the specs so asking for help from you guys.
Is the 20% increased price justified with the components? I don’t see such a drastic difference there but I don’t have much knowledge with the components. Just wanna have a good bike for years to come.
I just don’t want to buy the pricier one just because “it’s better because it costs more” if I don’t know the justification behind it.
Happy trails and paved roads to all!

The essential difference is the groupset; both are mechanical 12 speed, which is good (latest generation), but the 7 saves you 600 grams on the bike. Whether this is worth the price, it’s up to you. Functionally, both bikes are the same.
Also, different colours…
EDIT: the other comment pointed out all the differences that contribute to the weight saving (and to some extent, comfort)
upgrades over the roadlite 6:
thru axle wheels instead of QR
better rear hub
better cockpit
better seatpost (it has a carbon tube and offers more comfort)
about 600 grams in weight savings
Thanks guys for the replies! One thing I’m not certain yet is the cockpit. Since it’s all-in-one integrated piece, I’m wondering what if I don’t like it and would like to change the handle bar to a riser bar to get a little more relaxed cockpit or if it just doesn’t suit me at all? Then I’m kinda stuck with the integrated cockpit unless I want to but stem also. Am I right? Any experience on the integrated cockpit to wash my worries away? 🙂
