So what happend last weekend: i was going to a trail with my Scott Gambler 930. Everything was going pretty smooth until i came a cross anjump that was about 1 meter long (maybe 3.5 feet) i didnt really know that the jump was gonna be that long. Then i jumped without having enough speed and my back tire didnt fully make it to the landing. Now after the jump, i didn‘t really recognize the crack until i got home when driving on a straight street because i noticed that the bike was really wobbly in behind. When i got home, i thought i had a dent in the wheel but i was wrong… The next day i cane to check on my bike and i see a crack about 4cm long (about 1.7 inches.) I also noticed, that some spokes are really wobbly and the crack happend right on a spoke on the rim. Is the rim totaled or can i still fix it somehow? Help is very much appreciated

    That rim is dead.

You either need a new rim or a completely new wheel is often more cost effective if it’s not a high end hub.

Yeah, that rim is done. If you got the same size rim you can do a rim swap pretty easily. Zip tie the new rim to the old and move the spokes over one by one. You should be able to get pretty far and can take it to a shop for some truing if you don’t have a stand to do that yourself.
