Here’s one of my bikes. It’s a frame I got here in Tucson at BICAS, and built up with all parts from there too. The frame builder is a Canadian-Italian builder with a cool history (see the documentary Marinoni: The Fire in the Frame).
I’m guessing the frame is mid-80’s but I of course could be wrong. 50cm, but a super long top tube compared to other frames of its size. So it fits like a 52cm, lucky me.
Has a custom rack that was donated to BICAS by some nice person.
The drive train is Campy 10sp shifter w/ 9sp cassette & derailleur routed “Hubbub” style. Works nice, not perfect, but never slips or has between-gear-hiccups.
I got 700×40 tires to fit, but just barely. There’s a mm of clearance w/ the stays. Same with the front, just barely. I may switch to 700×35 and run fenders for more road-camping and light-gravel rather than the mildly chunky stuff I’ve been riding this on.

Dude, of you EVER have anything to fix on that frame, write to Marinoni, they are the best fuckin’ bike company ever !!
Marinoni make GREAT bikes, you can’t go wrong. Giuseppe is an ICON here in Canada.
