FWIW – I’ve heard in the past that, at a minimum, you should be able to slide a 4mm allen wrench/hex key between the closest point of the tire and the seat tube.

Have you just inflated the tires for the first time? They may still take some more air and stretch a little.
It might pay to wait couple of days and recheck the tire pressure and see how they are if you need to reinflate.
