27.5 wont outperform 26 on this bike since it wasnt designed with that. a taller front wheel will slacken the headtube angle, but it will also raise the bb. no fun. its also an older bike. looks fun to thrash about. wouldnt want to pedal it all day. refresh the 26s or go with a new bike.

If you change the fork you can go mullet. I’d say go with a cheaper 180mm Rockshox Dominion.

Thanks everyone, will probably just keep it as is for now. Might look into an electric conversion in the future though. Those hill climbs are no joke 😂
