Any advice please is hugely appreciated.
Im currently massively overwhelmed by all of the options available. I can spend up to £900 RRP (would prefer to keep on the lower end). So im currently looking at this contend 1.
Id be initially using it for 20 mile slow rides. Hoping to build back up to 50 mile road rides (very out of practice/shape)
Are there better options in this price range? Is the contend a good option?

it’s a good bike, especially for that price, but it is a racy road bike – you might find it uncomfortable and the gearing will be high. if you are wanting to get into “serious” road biking it would likely be fine.
