Bought this today for 100 bucks

It’s kind of a low end Peugeot, but it looks like it’s in good shape with many miles left in it. It’s not a bad bike, but not a lot of people are looking to collect the Carbolite frames. You did well on the price. It looks like it has alloy rims, which should work well for braking.

Centerpull brakes used to scare me, but they really work well when adjusted. It helps to have a “third hand” tool. It holds the brake pads tight against the rim so you can adjust the cable. There are different types, you can use a zip tie around the brake pads to do the same thing, or they’re about $10-15 on Amazon.

That will be a good bike just as it is. Enjoy riding it!
