I have the 45-700 on my bike and am considering going down to the 38-700 to gain some speed.
How is it for you with the 50s?

The wheels are Specialized Terra C. The tires are WTB Venture 700×50. I have a 11-51 cassette mated to a GRX 812 rear derailleur modified with an XT M8000 derailleur cages for that mullet set up.
