I am currently working on jumping technique. Therefore I try clearing this table with as little speed as possible. I feel like I could pop even more, but this leads to more and more instability, but that might be a (lack off )repetition issue? Another thing I noticed is that my arms might be bend to early before the landing, which might be a problem on harsher impacts. What do you think? Any feedback is appreciated.

I’d appreciate advice on jumping

Delay your jumping motion, you are going to early, you are going when you front wheel reaches the lip, you should be going when the back wheel reaches the lip, so delay for a moment and review the footage and compare how the height and distance felt

Front wheel goes a bit higher and has a longer flightpath than the rear, that combined with your landing position suggest your bodyweight is a touch too rearward. Try staying a little bit more forward. That’ll correct the front flying away from you and the rear getting bogged down.

This happens on big modern geometry bikes. Yours looks like it may be one? Got one myself recently and it’s been a bit of a learning curve. The centre point of the bikes balance is more forward of the BB compared to any other bikes I’ve ridden. Standing in a comfy “neutral upright” position is now weighting the rear and unweighting the front a bit. I also have to commit what feels like forward into the front triangle to achieve a balanced central point on the bike, can’t just stand tall anymore.
