I recently got a Grizl 7 and love it even though it’s been short test rides only so far. I’m in the process of looking into bags, racks and mudguards and was after some advice on mudguards.

I suspect there are alternatives but these would be more difficult to fit and perhaps not as secure on rough terrain. Specifically I was thinking about the SKS Edge AL or SKS Bluemels Style.
If anyone has experience of trying alternatives and how these have performed I’d be interested to hear about it. I have asked Canyon customer support for suggestions but imagine they may not be forthcoming with suggestions for alternative brands.

I really like the look of the canyon ones 🙂 I have them too.
Had the sks speedrockers on in the winter. Worked great, but my foot always got catched on the front mudguard in corners. If this is not an issue for you, I think they are a great alternative. And they keep the bike itself fairly clean.
I got the Canyon mudguards and the canyon recommended Tubus Cargo Evo Rack. I cannot get the rack to fit over Canyon mudguards.
If anyone figured out this conundrum let me know!!
i have this mudguard on my Grail. if u have the chance to buy it, get it. u wont regret it
