I am currently building up an old (‘72) Raleigh super course and wanted to throw a set of 700c wheels on it as I have a pretty nice dura-ace set that would look great. The front hub is the correct spacing, but the rear of the frame is spaced for a 120mm hub while my hub is 130mm. Is there a safe way for me to respace this hub or should I consider a different wheelset/cold setting the frame?
The hub is an 8-speed dura ace (7400 I believe), I’ll attach some pictures of the same hub as seen on eBay

Cold setting Steel is pretty easy to do on your own with basic tools. You will have to pay close attention to bringing in both sides equally.. some do this by throwing a string from dropouts around head tube and back to other dropout. There are a few tutorials online and videos on yt. The goal here is to ensure that the bike tracks in a straight line.

I know it’s a pic from eBay, but IF that’s the same hub you have, hopefully you have a compatible uniglide cassette.
