I found this grail of an xbike at our local bike co-op. I gave it a much needed revamp, but I did ride it in the unmolested original configuration just for the yucks (it was horrible). It helped bring the weight down and the fun up! I’m using 700d wheels from another project. This won’t be the final iteration of the build. It needs actual 650b rims (velo orange) and shorter cranks with a narrower Q factor. Purple anodized U brakes for the rear would be nice but I’ll have to get lucky on that.
