  1. Because cycling around vehicles sucks for both cyclists and drivers. You're lucky to have a small strip of grass between a cycle path and road. Bike theft is also far too common a problem.

    I will not cycle 1 meter in the road in bloody England, I'll literally die many times per day.

    Also it rains like 250/365 days per year.

    Nationalise public transport, take a few lanes out of highways, and encourage cycle use through the usual psyop's you're good at. Maybe you'll get a few more cyclists.

  3. Yo everyone get a mtb and no problem yall have it easier in the worst roads we also have that problem in the Philippines we just use mtb because it has suspension that can absorb the bumps which is more convenient than gravel and road bikes
