I’ve been riding 4 rides on my new Aeroad CF SLX (Sram Rival). And I noticed the crank has more resistance than I think it should have, when i ride i don’t feel it, only when I have it on a stand. I’m new to “high end” bikes but my friend says it’s shouldn’t be like that. He doesn’t have a powermeter so could that be the reason? Is it too tight? I’ve not touched it after receiving the bike.

If you can’t tell for sure, take it to a bike shop and have them check it out
If you know what u are doing you could unload and preload the crank again.
If Not, Take IT to a Shop and maybe contact canyon beforehand for a Coupon?
I had to take my Grizl to a shop to have the crank bolt loosened. I think someone at Canyon, or Canyon’s spec, is way overdoing those. The mechanic definitely tried showing off with an attempt using a 25cm wrench, probably thinking I didn’t know which way to turn, the arrogant prick, but had to fetch a meter-long breaker bar to get it.
Did you try with the chain off?
I found the cranks to be a little “stiff” on my new Grizl with SRAM Force cranks. They’re light-weight carbon cranks so hard to compare to the aluminium GX cranks on my MTB but they do spin a lot more freely. I ended up loosening up the preload ring and then played around with it. I ended up backing it off ever so slightly and it makes a difference when I spin the cranks by hand (on the stand, chain removed). No difference noticeable when I ride though!
