Everyone is saying these should be turned to drive side, but for storage purposes, I think this is exactly the way to do it. It prevents you from getting bike grease on yourself when walking by and also protects your derailleurs from getting knocked into or damaged. It’s a garage, not a museum — sh*t happens! Now, if this is a wall that *never* sees foot traffic nearby it, or if it was mounted with a bench or something underneath so no one was walking over there, I’d agree.
