If God truly sees what's in your heart, then he wouldn't punish you because he would understand what you were going through when you ended it. And also remembering that God sees us as human beings, not Gods ourselves. He knows our limitations and weaknesses. So this whole little speech makes zero sense.

See, this crazy idea is one of the main reasons I left this religion. We can only wish that people live their life and don't resort to suicide, but ultimately there will always people who suffer too much and want to end it all. The last thing we should be doing is further increasing their pain and claiming that they'll go to hell. Claiming that suicidal people will go to hell and will only make them feel more miserable. It's disrespectful and insensitive.
