Hey guys,
I am struggling with this stupid quick link. Could you guys let me know if I miss something?
I just won’t click and I am afraid to use too much force on it.
I guess I tries most things, also pedaling / breaking etc.
I also have the tool but of course not with me today…

They are sometimes really stubborn.
Check that the other side also looks like it is coming together correctly, then place bike on floor, rotate chain so the quick link is on top, squeeze rear brake and stomp on the pedals.
Is it deffo the right size for the chain? I’ve used 10 speed ones on 9 speed chains and they won’t quite go in because they’re narrower. I have also known the right size to be stiff but sort themselves out as the chain is under tension
Looks like it’s on the lower side of the chain? Backpedal until the quick link is on the top side, then hold the brakes and press the pedals forward.
check that there isnt any dirt or grit between the plates
Put the quick line at the top of the chain, and then put some force through the pedal.
Make sure there’s no wax or grit stopping the link from being completely flush with the plate of the chain. You might have to pinch it flush while you try to click it into place.
Sometimes you have to pedal a little bit for it to click.
Just do it cautiously
Hold break and stomp on pedal
I put screwdriver inside the link and force it that way if its stubborn.
