Anyone had a distal clavicle fracture with a full coracoclavicular ligament rupture?

Basically broke the end of, and separated the AC joint and the scapula? What was your healing process like, and did you have a procedure with a large cord or suture?

I am having worries about complications, the style plate I got is supposed to have a lower complication rate/ reversal rate; some of the newer studies don’t match the older outcomes people were experiencing. I have read one that had the cord slip, and that the repair doesn’t match that of healed ligament graft.

Don’t worry about it. Anything you read is commercial bias. This is basic stuff for orthos
