
Wobbling while pedalling.
I rode it like this for a bit until the chain broke. Chain could be replaced and Idk if I’ll replace it and fix the other problems or just sell/give it away because I effectively got it for pennies.
Even if I don’t end up fixing due to the state this Supercycle is in it I’d like to know whether I fix this or end up learning how to for future repairs
What would it take to remove the bottom bracket and/or crank on this Supercycle

Given its condition I’d say an impact wrench. That’s what I use to remove the crank on my bike and it’s in great shape but that thing is on really tight. Add all that rust and that it’s probably not been removed for years and I doubt you can do this by hand. You’ll have a lot of rust removal and have to redo all the bearings. Is it worth it though?
You need a crank puller to get the crank arms off, then a hook spanner to remove the notched locking on the non-drive side “nds”.
Then a pin tool to remove the adjustable cup. Then take out the axle, examine the bearings and cup bearing surfaces. Replace bearings if damaged. If the bike is a “beater” to ride around town, then repack with nice thick grease. I would leave the fixed cup in place and clean from the inside, unless you are replacing everything. If you need to remove it, it’s reverse thread.
Most square taper axles are longer on the crank side, so pay attention when putting it back together.
Look up videos for over-hauling a square taper crankset.
Pull LH crank, then clean and lubricate around the lockring, then carefully use a lockring wrench to remove the lockring. That will get you access to the cup, which you will need a pin spanner or bb cup wrench to remove. Again, it will likely be stuck. Go slowly and tap the end of the lockring or cup wrenches *gently* with a hammer. If it moves at all, that’s great! Apply a little more oil and tap, tap, tap. 99% of the timr it will come loose if you are patient.
What you show is often caused by broken ball bearings within the shell. Don’t be surprised if rusty water pours out.
Please be careful, as you can easily slip using these thinner, specialized wrenches.

Use lots of PB Blaster or the penetrating oil of your choice. On a cheap bike with a limited tool budget, You might get away with a pulley puller or a ball joint separating pickle fork to get the crank off if you have one or can borrow one. Otherwise you do need a crank puller, and be careful to thread it all the way into the crank. Then you can try a punch with a hammer at an angle in one of the slots on the lock ring, and a spanner on the flats on the adjustable cup. The fixed cup may also have flats along its outside diameter. You might even be able to use (yikes) big channel lock pliers on both the lock ring and the fixed cup.
more than the whole bike is worth. and by the condition of the BB, the rest of the bike is totally screwed
