I see so many aggressive, sporty bicycles in this sub. Here’s my commuter. And no, I don’t live in the Netherlands.

My daily rider is a Dutch bike. I do find that the Dutch have a masochistic tendency to have their gearing ridiculously high though. I know it’s flat there, but I’ve cycled through the Fens here in England so I know what a headwind feels like on flat ground, and they must have them there too. I ended up putting a bigger rear sprocket on mine which made the going much easier.

Three internal gears really can be enough for most people in an urban environment. England used to be the land of the 3-Speeds once, now they’re very hard to come by.
