Don’t know if this is completely the correct thread for this post but.. it’s cool. I just picked up this steamroller for the low and it’s my first fixie/ss/road bike that i’ve owned. I have little to no knowledge on this kind of cycling (or any cycling for that matter). It’s a tad big I feel, but I think with some new backswept flat bars, and with a new seat post allowing the seat to go further down, it’ll feel comfy. (I was told for the price it was, I shouldn’t care much if it’s a bit big). I’m curious to know what a more seasoned bike bro would exchange on this bike.

Also

The frame was painted over the original color..
Is it goofy to just.. add new surly decals? I’m also hoping on painting the red accents a different color down the line. Thanks all in advance! I’m hyped to get some ripped quads on my new fixie. 🤙🤙

    Looks like a fun ride!

Size of the bike is pretty important, if it’s way too big for you, you can dump money into parts and still not be comfortable on it. Same if it’s way too small.

If you like the bike and think it’s cool, some bars and a seat post won’t break the bank but I’d suggest finding something that fits you better in the long run
