Do they also wear out the soles of shoes quick? Forgot to add that.

43 dollars is a lot for pedals and there are other options that will do the same thing for cheaper like the eclat juggernaut pedals. I also like eclat pedals because they have no gap between the pedal and crank arm

  3. I had some when they first came out and I loved them. I took the pins out of one side as well. Didn’t notice any excessive shoe wear or anything

Metal pins are what I’m used to. They do wear out shoes because you can clearly see where the pedal goes on your feet. If you’re asking do they prematurely wear them out, I’d say no. It’s way worse for guys using no brakes and using their foot on their tire to brake.

  5. Personally the reason to run plastic is not to smash your shins or cut them open, so it be never really understood having metal pins on a plastic pedal, just get a quality metal pedal that’ll last longer anyway. The jcpc/now oc wasn’t massively popular but it did at least allow you to replace parts when worn down rather than buy a whole new pedal, they also don’t run on bearings.

I’ve been running these for years. I like the feel and serviceability
