I have longer legs and I ride a size L aeroad. I also think it would fit you better. Xl would be taller but also longer.

Your body geometry will play a role. Are you longer legs shorter torso or vice versa? I was right on the line for XL and XXL for the Grizl, I’m all torso and went with the XXL and it fits fine but the seat is as low as it can go within acceptable range. I agonized over which one to get and ultimately I think I could’ve made either work comfortably. If you’re longer legs I’d size down, if you’re all torso I’d go XL because saddle height is an easier adjustment than reach. Just my opinion. Good luck!
