Wtf Is OP wearing clogs?
maybe you just ran over some paint or some other stuff that could’ve caused that? i do not think it is worn.
Did you try an wipe off whatever that is?

could be a manufacturing defect in the sense that the colored puncture protection liner ([yellow in this image](https://www.schwalbe.com/thumbnail/33/78/ee/1700732980/22glqqjipd2r902h4p4nh38j08_hs431_schwalbe_delta-cruiser_reflex_k-guard_standard-cut_800x800.png)) melted and got mixed with the black rubber during manufacturing. I’ve seen that happen twice.
I’d contact Vredestein and/or the seller and see what they say
Do these have a wear indicator and does the red section look flat?
Normally I would say changing colour is a good indicator that the tyre is worn and needs replacing but it does look pretty new.
If you rub the edge with fine sandpaper (300+ grit, 600 would be better) it will get bigger or smaller. If it gets bigger, the red is underneath, possibly some kind of manufacturing defect given the general condition. If it gets smaller it’s paint or something, scrub it off and ride it.

How worn is the tyre actually? How many kilometers are on it?
Usually changing color happens when the puncture protection layer comes through. But this should only happen when the tread is worn through, i.e. after visible wear and several thousand kilometers. I can’t find any information if your tyre has a puncture protection layer like this. Does it have a tread wear indicator (TWI) somewhere?
