I found this crack in my aluminum rear wheel while trying to true it. It is crooked, but no amount of fiddling with the spokes fixed the issue. (My tool also slipped and caused the nipples to get f**ked).
Is it safe to ride as is, even with the crooked and cracked wheel?
I contacted Marin Bikes already and told them the issue. I am now waiting for an answer.

It’s safe until it fails. Maybe that’s tomorrow, maybe it’s in a decade.
it looks like a scratch
also don’t use universal/multi tool spoke wrenches. Better to buy specific for each nipple size
This wouldn’t bother me in the slightest. I’d be more annoyed at myself for messing up the spoke nipple.
Ridden with worse cracks in carbon wheels in rough AF conditions for >year
It’s definitely cracked. Have a look at the all of the other spoke holes on the same side of the wheel, you might find more. It’ll die a slow death, eventually pulling the nipple through the rim.
Can’t really see a crack. Can you highlight it and take a better photo?
Is your life worth less than a new wheel? You can get another wheel for cheap..
I went through this with a wheel last year. one crack turns into several cracks turns into broken spokes. keep an eye on it and monitor the rest of the holes for cracks.
Looks safer than my knees but I still ride
