I had broken my derailleur coming up slightly short on the previous lap, so my buddy helped me remove the derailleur and chain so I could keep riding. And this is what happened my very next lap lol
Thankfully nothing more than a sore knee and my wallet being a bit lighter 🤙🤙🤙

Oh there are worse places. I landed half way down a flight of stairs, pedal snapped off, the sharp piece of pedal axle gashed my shin and then I rattled down the rest of the stairs with balls on the frame. 10/10.
