I came to this bike off of a Trek 520. I was able to find it used two years ago off eBay of all places, (crazy purchase story).
I haven’t been able to do any touring with it yet but man I love it. It is 6 pounds lighter than my 520 and with the jones bars, (I added for comfort) is truly an all day tourer. I do miss the “feel” of riding a steel bike but would make the jump again without question. If you have the chance to go titanium, do it. You won’t regret it!

That little silver thing bolted behind the front wheel nut, which the rack is mounted on… What is it called? It would be perfect for my rack as I’ve had to just force it so I can bolt it along with the mudguard but it’s really awkward. That little thing would be perfect!
