Um back in olden times I’d be outside edenburgh by now these are the city walls these are the 17th century walls here this is a t for wall as you can see here it’s actually linked to the flooding wall this dates back to the early 16th century it started to get

Built from 1513 onwards and some of you might recognize the name flooding because that’s where a famous battle took place between England and Scotland SC Scotland and France had a treaty signed in 1295 called The Alliance it’s now called the old Alliance and basically it was a treaty

Selling my tours in the shop in the Royal m in Edinburgh and they just announced a couple of days ago that all the shops are closing down the shops are all closing down all the visit Scotland shops in Scotland are closing down over the next two years so pretty

Devastating so I’ve asked what’s happening in the gas I’m sing mats and still trying to figure out what they’re doing they’re moving everything online now they’re seeing everybody’s going online but what about all the old people you know what I mean a lot of our demographics are like American tourists

And they elderly a lot of them don’t have data on their phone as well you know so like to go into the shops and can pick up maps and all things like that so I think it’s a very shortsighted move closing down to visit Scotland shops so I’m not too

You know what it’s like you know how expensive it can be as well so you don’t come in July or August um this is so expensive in July and August uh bu going mad just try to watch out there so many new cycle lanes and all these mad cyclists and so on you

Just never know who’s going to you’re going to get knocked down or what September is a good month to come to Ed I recommend September to people it’s a lot although although September now last year was just as busy in Edinburgh as August but it is a lot less

Expensive because Edinburgh has The Fringe Festival of course in August and the accommodation is just ridiculous $600 for a three star hotel for one night and uh yeah so it’s just extortion here in August so I do recommend um September it’s usually nice usually quite nice weather I mean to be honest

It doesn’t matter what time of year you come to Scotland the weather can be hit or miss you know sometimes it it can be colder in June than February as you can see it’s quite busy but the sign the Signal’s holding up so it must just be the signal area it mustn’t be

You’re only a Heartbeat Away for fourth down there of course the port of Le New Haven oh this area see here so this this is a port of leaf down here where I live obviously and what they’re doing is they’re developing all the way along now

To here right then there’s a gap then they’ve done another big development here it’s all industrial this is all industrial along here on the shoreline so the last few years they decided to try and change it from industrial and they’re building lots of houses down here all down here down the coast cuz

The views are spectacular and down here towards PTO Bello so Leaf is here we met those girls and PTO Bello is way along here for reason understand and it’s all industrial as well and then now they’re going to change that as well to housing because they’ve got the views you know

But the only ones who’ll have the good views are the ones whose houses are right on the front um so the houses behind them they get very good views but yeah all down there they um there all along the shoreline now they’re going to change it from industrial the parts that are still

Industrial they’re going to change it in um into housing so that’ll be quite good if you’ve got lots of money as you can see it’s quite busy I get good views up here let’s see how I get a good views up here they probably don’t enjoy all just follow the in
