Hi all, what are your thoughts on having these seat post mounted rear racks? My intention is to use it with panniers when commuting to work, and occasionally for bike touring. I’m aware of its limited weight allowance, however, I would like to know if there are any other drawbacks I should be aware of before purchasing. Thanks!

No way I would trust this to hold anything heavier than a sleeping bag and toolkit. Better to put p-clips on your stays and use a proper rack.
I found something very similar in a second hand shop to try on my mtb, would only use it for really lightweight stuff. It’s not very stable and it’s stability really depends on how it fits on your seat post
