Frame – Rock lobster – relaxed tracklocross e.g., bb and pedal strike are accounted for, but it’s wheelbase isn’t as tight as possible.
Fork – Wild Pathfinder & old man mountain thru axle – flat mount
Wheelset & Tires – 142mm Paul fixed disc with lightwheels R454 and sapim CX-Ray w/ Challeng Chicanes
BB & Crankset & pedals & Chain – Phil Wood 123-White industry with Exustar PS207 (Look keo on one side and SPD on other) – Sram 12 speed MTB
Seatpost + collar + saddle – Thompson straight, Phil wood with Specialized Mimic Pro
Headset + stem + handlebars + grips – Purple King, Thompson -17 with Carbon bars cut to 680
Extras – Old man mountain pizzarack, Shimano crap MT200 (It’s what I had lying around), Futurama toy, quick release fenders, Banana Boat SPF 45. Futurama stickers.
Story – I’ve been biking for 15 years now and decided to finally pull the trigger on my dream bike. I wanted my own premium bike but I didn’t need top of the line/modern components. It’s nice because I can swap out to road pretty easily with AXS and another wheelset I have. Externally routed everything means I just have another set of disc calipers on road shifters and it’s good to go.
I hung out with the Rock Lobster team at SSCX Worlds back in November, cool people. Im thinking of selling ny ti road biek and having them build me a new one. I want to fit like fuckin 40s on it.
