Almost got this guy done today. Took it for a test ride around the block and popped the chain. This is my first bike that is not a single speed, so big learning curve getting this one together. Wanted a bit more of an aggressive look, but I forgot that the brake cables would be routed thru the top of the levers, and I got a lil too stoned before going bar tape shopping. Tomorrow I’ll figure out the chain, and swap the crankset and chainrings with suntours so that the group set is complete.
These wheels are not the 700D that GT made from factory, I’ll get them eventually.

I have learned that I have a 2 beer limit before I take my bike maintenance keys away. It may a little more if I were to drink Busch. Also, very cool bike. The GT hybrids are on my list of dream bike.
Consider a 1x conversion of a sleeker look and easier maintenance. Also better riding experience with less chain issues if done correctly
