Cycling UK is really excited to share with you our latest Bike Week advert. This year Bike Week UK takes place from 10-18 June. During the week why don’t you go on a bike ride with your family or join one of our group cycles taking place close to you.
Bike Week UK is an annual event to promote cycling, and show how cycling can easily be part of everyday life by encouraging ‘everyday cycling for everyone’. Demonstrating the social, health and environmental benefits of cycling, the week aims to get people to give cycling a go all over the UK, whether this be for fun, as a means of getting around to work or school, the local shops or just for fun.
Cycling UK would like to take this opportunity to thank all the cyclists that got involved in this advert for Bike week 2017 and for the hundreds that applied! It was great to have you involved and we are overjoyed with the response from the cycling community.

I'd love to take my family out riding our bikes for a fun trip. Unfortunately the roads around here are horrible to ride bikes on, and we've had too many near-misses with inattentive and/or actively hosting motor vehicle drivers. We need Dutch-style cycleways first, then people will take to cycling in their millions!
