Finally got my HVZ Rekord back up and running. This thing was sitting without a front wheel, bent rear wheel and no straps, and my heart finally couldn’t take it- got on Marketplace, met up with a very local guy that has an insanely cool bike, and got a very solid, if unspectacular, wheelset (Alexrims laced to Sturmey Archers) for an amazing price. And BAM, the ol’ misaligned bastard skids again! Cool bike in question (the less cool one is my other bike):
As for the rest of the build, it’s still my 1986 HVZ Rekord frame (factory reject woooo) with an Amazon fork, Andel Track cranks and a Selle Italia Turbo I paid too much for. Rides like a dream. And before anyone says anything, I did fix the saddle angle since taking this pic haha

The second photo actually has ∞% more cat, unless there is a second cat hiding somewhere in the background.
