A buddy of mine owns a house clearance firm, he recently gave me this that he had acquired from a house. I’ve cleaned her up but nothing else. The previous owner must have been an og xbiker 😂Needs a few bits changing but I’m in love with the frame. First time I’d ever heard of reynolds 708! What should I do with it?

Wow, that’s a really nice bike. The English line of products was quite different than what we got here. I’ve never seen a 708 frame ever, but [this](https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/raleigh-randonneur-708-1997.405472/) forum post has some interesting information about the series.
I would get a comfortable saddle, racks and some panniers and go on a nice long ride through the Quantocks. It’s not the Moors, nobody dies in the Quantocks.
