This build has been a major pain and is still a work in progress but I love it. Japanese Keirin bikes are so aesthetically pleasing. Regarding this specific Gan Well, the lug work, rear drops with cut outs, and the innovative rear seat cluster is stunning to me. Furthermore, I feel that Keirin bikes are an extension, or maybe an evolution of vintage steel track bikes. I have a few vintage steel track bikes but this bike is lighter, stiffer, and more nimble than my other bikes. It’s still not my favorite ride….yet.
