I recently purchased a pre-owned set of tubular carbon wheels. Since they’ve been sitting unused for a while, they were quite low on air. I topped up the front one without any problems; however, the rear one doesn’t allow any air in or out. It currently sits at around 50-60 psi, judging from how it feels (definitely not empty). However, when I try to pump it up, the air simply doesn’t go in. I tried removing the core to let the air out this way, but even when it’s out, it still doesn’t deflate.
What can I do in this situation?

We need you to elaborate a little more. If it’s tubular and leaking out immediately you need a new tire if it’s not leaking at the valve core.

Can you unscrew that valve shaft? To save this tire you may need to unstuck it from the rim.

Sometimes you can unscrew that valve extender and use it to unscrew the valve core that’s below the rim surface by kinda sticking it in at a slight angle and twirling it counter-clockwise in an effort to grip the inner valve core and open it. . . If that makes sense. I made this mistake the first time I glued a tubular to a deep dish rim. You are supposed to remove the valve core before gluing the tire on so that you can just use the one on the extender without getting yourself into this situation.

Id twist the valve with some grips and see if that breaks the sealant
