It looks like my biking/triathalon hobby might not just be a phase so now Im looking to upgrade from my $200 bicycle direct road bike. Do you think I should get a better bike or is this a solid price for what it is. Any input is appreciated. Looking to have this ~long term~ while also trying not to spend over $1200. Domane SL 5. Recently tuned and in excellent condition. 56cm frame. Ideal for riders 5’9″ up to 6’0″. Very low use, can hardly find a scratch on the frame. No rust, dents, carbon issues, etc. Always stored indoors while not in use.
Ride ready and needs no work. Pedals, brakes and shifts properly. Rims are true. Brakes are very responsive. Tires are like new. Everything on the bike is stock. Duotrap bluetooth installed. I have a pair of basic platform pedals installed, but if you’d like a pair of SPD pedals, let me know and I’ll swap them out.
