While washing and servicing my gravel bike today I noticed a 1in gash in the tread of my rear Pirelli Cinturato M 700x45mm. It’s holding air fine, but it seems to be through the majority of the depth of the rubber, and I can just barely see seem of the cord down in the gash.
Replace, or ride on? I have spares, and I’d rather not be worrying about it on the 70mi gravel race I have coming up at the end of April.

I might take deflate the tire and flex it to see how deep it goes. If the fabric casing is undamaged, then no issue.
